CompnTemp does not collect any personal data. This applies to the iPhone and iPad app and to the Mac and Windows apps.
- There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
- Your timer settings, profiles and probe calibration are stored only on your own device. They are never sent to me or to anyone else.
- The iPhone and iPad app uses Bluetooth only to connect to a Vernier temperature probe and read the temperature. The Mac and Windows apps read the probe over USB. Temperature readings stay on your device.
- CompnTemp does not need an internet connection and does not send any information over the internet.
If you install a test version of the iPhone and iPad app through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share with me any crash reports and feedback that you choose to send. That information is handled under Apple's privacy policy.
